At Catholic Charities, we believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, no matter the circumstances. This Giving Tuesday, your gift helps us serve with dignity, as we go to the margins and uplift those who need it the most.
A little support goes a long way!
Most of us take for granted the everyday comforts that make us feel safe and cared for. But for the people we serve, essentials like food, shelter, and personal care items can often be out of reach. Your gift this Giving Tuesday helps meet those needs and reminds every person we serve that they matter. Funds raised will also support much-needed technology enhancements, allowing us to serve each individual more efficiently and with greater care.
Here’s what YOU can do:
- Your gift of $25 supports counseling patients on their healing journey.
- Our Counseling Program uses coloring books and crayons to help children feel relaxed and comfortable during therapy sessions.
- Your gift of $50 assists nearly 30 people with transportation through bus tokens.
- Bus tokens help our Community Resource Coordination clients get to job interviews, medical appointments, and more.
- Your gift of $75 supplies laundry detergent for five families, meeting a basic household need that is often forgotten.
- A simple way to bring dignity and normalcy to guests at our Emergency Family Shelter.
- Your gift of $100 provides toilet paper to 120 people in need.
- Toilet paper is one of the most requested items at the Catholic Charities Food Pantry.
- Your gift of $250 equips clients with gas cards to overcome transportation barriers.
- Gas cards support our Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault clients in making it to group sessions, court hearings, and essential appointments safely.
